Agenda:
In the DIB, many of us follow the DoW’s lead in sending out requests for proposals (RFPs) when selecting vendors. An RFP helps an organization understand all the factors that would go into using a given provider, including their ability to execute to your organizational standards as well as cost, scope, and timeline. CMMC compliance services are no exception.
In this session, we will explore how to create an RFP to determine which CMMC compliance service provider is best for your business. Daniel and Jacob will share their insights and actionable takeaways.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of how to create and refine your RFPs. As a result, you’ll be able to discover the right provider for your unique needs, minimizing the risk of choosing the wrong provider.
Topics of discussion will include:
1. Creating a Scoring Matrix:- Typical scoring criteria
- Scope
- Timeline
- Cost
- Past performance
- How to weigh those criteria
- CMMC compliance level of the provider
- Managed services or in-house
- Whether an enclave or all-in compliance is needed
- Use of FedRAMP-cloud solutions
- How many clients have you led to CMMC certification?
- Are you CMMC certified and at which level?
- Is your staff 100% U.S. persons (Export Control)?
